Our Story

Founded in 2014, Education for Ha Giang Highland Community (E4HC) is a social enterprise located in Hagiang, North Vietnam. Our mission is to enrich ethic minorities by connecting volunteers and sponsors to the disadvantaged people of Ha Giang. We firmly believe that while an individual can make a difference, collective action can drive tremendous changes.

As a social enterprise, we pledge to draw 51% of the annual profits to reinvest in the community.

Main areas of work

Our main areas of work involve facilitating global volunteers’ engagement in community service and operating ethical tours. We also fundraise and implement social projects in collaboration with local or international entities.

We’ve welcomed international volunteers to assist us in teaching English to local youth and children.

We’ve improved the lives of locals by organizing responsible tours and collaborating with them in tour guidance and homestay arrangements.

We act as a liaison between donors and beneficiaries, leveraging our extensive experience in collaborating with authorities and ethnic minority groups.

We collaborate with local authorities and international organizations to make social impacts on local community.
