ITINERARY
NIGHT 1: ARRIVAL DATE – VANG VILLAGE
Enjoy an overnight at a Tay ethnic house in Vang village, 5km from Ha Giang city on the direction to Thanh Thuy border gate.
DAY 1: VANG VILLAGE – MEO VAC – MA PI LENG PASS – DONG VAN (175km)
Drive to the peak of Ma Pi Leng pass which gives stunning views of the mountains and sweeping valleys.
On the way, stop to visit Lung Tam linen village, Yen Minh Peak before moving to Ma Pi Leng adventurous pass.
If time fits, you will have a chance to have a short hike on sky path on Ma Pi Leng mount to visit a White H’mong village there. Then check-in your hotel in Dong Van
DAY 2: DONG VAN – H’MONG KING PALACE – SUNG LA – NAM DAN (100km)
Check-out your hotel before breakfast.
En route, stop to visit the palace of the H’mong king, which was a royal family of high rank during French colonial rule.
Then Sung La village where was chosen as the location for the award-winning movie Pao’s Story.
In the afternoon, visit Lung Khuy Cave before check-in your homestay in Nam Dam village, a traditional Red Dao brick-roof house. Walk around the village in this late afternoon and prepare to cook a dinner with your homestay family tonight.
DAY 3: NAM DAM – LUNG KHUY CAVE – HA GIANG MUSEUM- VANG VILLAGE
At 8:00AM after breakfast, check-out your homestay and visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Quan Ba Twin Mountain. If time fits, the tour guide will bring you to Ha Giang museum to learn about the history and culture of Ha Giang.
In the afternoon, your tour guide will bring you back to Vang village to take your luggage before checking in your bus to Hanoi.
End of the tour after having a dinner at your homestay in Vang village.
