ITINERARY
Day 1: Vang Village – Cao Bo Commune – Tay Con Linh
Morning: Commuting and trekking
5:00 – Commute from Vang village by car to Lung Tao commune, Cao Bo district.
6:00 – Trek under the guidance of porter.
You will get to discover the beauty of the mountains, terraced rice fields and daily activities of the local people.
For each season, the natural landscapes wear a new shirt. In spring, the terraced rice fields are covered by a lush green shirt of young rice. In autumn, the fields change a bright yellow shirt, exuding the passionate aroma of new rice.
Noon: Lunch break
11:00 – Stop for lunch and nap for 2 hours
Afternoon: Trekking
13:00 – Continue to ascend. As the trek continues it gets steeper, and the path starts to twist and wind.
On the way to Tay Con Linh, tourists pass through dense tropical leafy primordial forests with rich and diverse vegetation. Old trees grow together with many kinds of herbaceous plants creating a grand and poetic landscape. There are sections where the hikers follow a stream that has slippery rocks. You will go past a bamboo forest, and there is also lots of other vegetation around the trail.
The higher you climb, the scarcer the population, making the paths more mysterious. There are many legends and stories about King Hoang Van Thung of La Chi ethnic minorities. If you have a chance to visit this land, spend time with local people to learn more.
17:00 – Arrive at camp, rest – watch the sunset and overnight in the forests.
Day 2: Tay Con Linh – Cao Bo Commune – Vang Village
Morning: Commuting and trekking
5:00 – Enjoy the sunrise and breakfast
Go up to the hut to welcome the sunrise, watch the flowers, and hunt for the clouds and have a breakfast.
6:00 – Continue to trek
Starting to go to the forest to visit ancient trees and conquer the 2428 m peak. From the top of Tay Con Linh, enjoy your achievement by watching the floating clouds, admiring the peaceful scenery, villages, and local life. The experience of climbing to the roof of the Northeast will make you extremely proud of yourselves and love Vietnam more.
After enjoy the view, will prepare personal belongings to go down the mountain
Noon: Lunch break
11:00 – Have a light picnic lunch along the way
Afternoon: Trekking
13:00 – Return to the foot of the mountain,
A motorbike taxi takes the group to the homestay in the Lung Tao commune. Take a rest and go back to Vang Village by car to take your luggage before checking in your bus to Hanoi.
End of the tour.
NOTE
Get a permit
Apply for a permit at the border guard station in Lao Chai. This is a mandatory regulation, without which you will not be able to climb the mountain. In fact, the procedure is simple, just prepare identity documents and local referrals, and you are good to go!
