In a significant stride towards sustainable development, on May 8th, 2024, E4HC representatives, in collaboration with the Standing Committee of the Vi Xuyen District People’s Committee, spearheaded the launch of a transformative program aimed at planting one million cinnamon trees across the Ha Giang province.
As part of this initiative, E4HC, alongside the Vi Xuyen District Youth Union, the leadership of Trung Thanh Commune, and various local associations, distributed a total of 60,000 cinnamon seedlings to 120 impoverished households in Trung Thanh Commune, Vi Xuyen District. This program not only provides a sustainable livelihood for the recipient families but also serves as a catalyst for the broader agricultural development of the region.

The cinnamon tree distribution program is funded by the Phuoc Dien Group, the Mam Xanh Group, the CT107 Group, and the participation of Buddhist monks and followers. This collaborative effort underscores the collective commitment to empowering marginalized communities and fostering environmental stewardship in the Ha Giang province.
“By providing these cinnamon seedlings to local households, we are not only addressing immediate economic needs but also investing in the long-term sustainability of the region,” said Ms. Quynh, a representative from E4HC. “This initiative is a testament to the power of community-driven solutions and the transformative impact that can be achieved through strategic partnerships.”

The distribution of the cinnamon seedlings is a pivotal step in the broader Million-Tree Cinnamon Initiative, which aims to revitalize the agricultural landscape of Ha Giang while simultaneously improving the livelihoods of its residents. As the program gains momentum, E4HC and its partners will continue to work closely with local authorities and communities to ensure the successful implementation and long-term viability of this transformative endeavor.
Through this collaborative effort, E4HC reinforces its commitment to sustainable development, environmental conservation, and the empowerment of underserved communities. By harnessing the power of community-driven initiatives and leveraging strategic partnerships, the organization is paving the way for a future where economic prosperity and environmental stewardship coexist in harmony.
