On April 3rd, 2024, representatives from the organization E4HC participated in the Youth Month and Border Month Launching Ceremony in Thanh Duc commune, Vị Xuyên district, Ha Giang. During the ceremony, representatives from the district’s Youth Union, the district’s Police Youth Union, as well as the commune and village youth groups, collaborated to promote awareness about the youth month and the journey back to our roots, symbolized by the tradition of drinking water to remember the source.

Additionally, there were campaigns to educate the youth in the village and young individuals on discarding outdated customs, refraining from early marriage, and specifically, eradicating the practice of marrying close relatives. These initiatives hold great significance as they bring about positive changes and higher quality of life for the youth, especially those belonging to ethnic minority groups. They aim to ensure their rights and provide them with opportunities for personal growth.
The day was filled with meaningful experiences and a wide range of emotions. We express our gratitude to all the connections and opportunities that allowed us to participate in this program. This event, held on April 3rd, 2024, serves as a testament to our dedication to empowering and shaping a better future for the youth, fostering cultural awareness, and promoting progressive values within the community.
