On May 22nd, 2023, the National University of Singapore collaborated with the social enterprises YESD and E4HC to engage in renovation and construction projects for school facilities in impoverished villages of Hà Giang province. Currently, the program is underway in Tham Ve village, Cao Bồ commune, Vị Xuyên district, where three classrooms are being renovated for primary school students. Additionally, in Ngọc Minh commune, Vị Xuyên district, construction is taking place for two new classrooms at the Ethnic Boarding Secondary School.

This annual program is carried out by young volunteers who are students from the National University of Singapore. The collaboration between the university and social enterprises demonstrates their commitment to improving educational infrastructure in disadvantaged communities. By providing upgraded and newly constructed classrooms, the initiative aims to create conducive learning environments for students in these remote areas.

The efforts of the university students and the involvement of social enterprises highlight the importance of community development and the power of collaboration in addressing educational disparities.
