ITINERARY
Morning: Vang Village – Xa Phin Village
At 8:00 am, our guide and car pick you up at Vang Village in Vi Xuyen province to Xa Phin village gate where you will begin your trekking journey.
Later, we walk through and get to know about the Dao ethnic minority community in Xa Phin village. These are in the list of the most beautiful Dao villages in Ha Giang when they still retain their original beauty and are hidden in the roof of Northeastern Vietnam, Tay Con Linh mountain. There you will have a chance to experience:
Find out how Shan Tuyet green tea was born, enjoy cups of one of the most precious and delicious tea specialties in Vietnam, which is handmade by locals there.
Get a great insight into the customs, lifestyle and culture of the Dao ethnic people by entering a random house and interacting with the locals.
Noon
Enjoy a cozy family meal at an ethnic Dao house, experience unique dishes that no other tours have such as “grilled pork with tea leaves in bamboo tubes” served with forest vegetables.
After that, you can have lunch break and take a short nap.
Afternoon: Xa Phin Village – Tha Village – Vang Village
Xa Phin is one of the most beautiful Tay villages in Ha Giang that still preserves 100% of the houses on stilts with palm leaf roofs interspersed with terraced fields. There you will have a chance to experience:
Admire the terraced fields next to the beautiful stilt houses.
Get a great insight into the customs, lifestyle and culture of the Tay ethnic people by entering a random house and interacting with the locals.
Have a cool dip into the heart-shaped waterfall and enjoy its cool, limpid water with huge cliffs.
Trekking down 02km to the foothills of Tha village, our car drives you back to Vang village at around 5pm. Finish our unique trekking journey, see you on our next journey!
NOTE
Get a permit
Apply for a permit at the border guard station in Lao Chai. This is a mandatory regulation, without which you will not be able to climb the mountain. In fact, the procedure is simple, just prepare identity documents and local referrals, and you are good to go!
